- Manages software entitlements and license pools
- Optimizes spending and maintains compliance
- Executes reclamation, allocation, and renewals
What if your IT operations ran themselves?
XOPS agents take ownership of entire operational jobs. They continuously execute the work, report results, and bring you the decisions that need your judgment.
Stop managing work. Start managing outcomes.
Your agent is already part of the team.
Assign work in Outlook. Collaborate in Teams. Your XOPS agent executes across your enterprise systems and reports the outcome.
We need to take $5M out of our software spend next year without disrupting the business.
Please put together a plan by the end of next week.
Dana
Dana, the FY27 software plan you asked for is ready, and Priya has approved it.
Only the reclamation was done automatically, under existing policy. Renewal changes go through Procurement, and app retirements need their owners’ agreement. I left out a $900K data platform reduction because it conflicts with engineering’s FY27 expansion, and the engineering toolchain is untouched.
| LEVER | FY27 | WHO ACTS |
|---|---|---|
| Reclaim idle licenses$620K done, $280K still to go | $0.9M | Agent |
| Microsoft 365 E5 → E32,300 users with no E5-only use | $0.9M | Agent, once approved |
| Right-size commitments at renewalAdobe, Salesforce, ServiceNow and 9 more | $1.4M | Procurement |
| Co-term smaller contractsReplaces the data platform cut | $0.7M | Procurement |
| Retire overlapping applications14 apps consolidated to 5 | $1.2M | App owners |
| Reduce data platform commitmentConflicts with engineering’s FY27 expansion | $0.9M | Excluded |
| Total identified, including completed work | $5.1M |
Savings are counted only once the change is confirmed in the vendor portal. Operational detail goes to the program owner.
Hey, Dana just asked for a plan to reduce our software spend by $5M next year.
I’ve already started working on it. I’m reconciling our contracts, entitlements and actual usage to find where we can reduce spending without affecting the business.
I’ve also flagged 38 renewals coming up in FY27 that give us room to renegotiate.
I’ll put together a prioritized plan with projected savings, risks, and the actions I can take under our existing policies.
Is there anything you’d like me to prioritize or avoid?
Understood. I’ll protect the engineering toolchain and factor in the planned headcount growth.
I’ll continue with the rest of the portfolio and bring you a recommendation.
I’ve completed the analysis: $5.1M in FY27 savings identified, including work that’s already done.
$620K is already secured. I reclaimed 1,140 unused licenses under our existing policy and removed them from upcoming true-ups and renewal counts, so that’s spend we won’t pay next year.
One change from my first pass: reducing our data platform commitment would have saved $900K, but it conflicts with engineering’s expansion in the Workday plan. I left it out and replaced most of it with contract co-terming ($700K). That puts us $100K over target, with less cushion than I’d like.
The engineering toolchain is untouched, as you asked. And the regular work kept going: 389 licenses reclaimed and 61 requests fulfilled since Monday.
The plan, with evidence and risks, is ready for your review.
412 contracts · usage for 9,800 people · Workday headcount plan · 38 FY27 renewals
Cortex weighs every option against policy, Priya’s guidance, the engineering hiring plan and the $5M target
Arbiter executes what policy allows, verifies it at the source, and routes the rest to people
Leaders assign outcomes and receive results, like with any accountable member of the team.
The agent reaches out, asks for context, and brings decisions to the right person.
Reconciles enterprise data, decides within policy, acts across systems, and verifies every result.
A copilot waits for a prompt. Your XOPS agent has a job, takes initiative, and keeps you informed.
The CIO’s email changed the agent’s priorities. It didn’t start its day: the Software Asset Manager was already doing its job. Outlook and Teams are simply how you work with it.
Real jobs. Real outcomes. Autonomous execution.

Not another copilot. Agents that actually do the work.
XOPS continuously reconciles enterprise data, makes decisions within policy, and executes actions across your existing systems. Every outcome is verified and accountable.
How each layer works ▾
Continuously reconciles usage, entitlements, contracts, people and devices from every system into one trusted operating position.
Compares that position to the outcome you declared, whether set by policy or handed over in Outlook or Teams. Cortex decides the next action inside your policies and escalates what needs human judgment.
Arbiter coordinates the change across your systems, verifies the result at the source, and records the evidence behind every briefing and plan.
Your agents do the work. Your people own the outcomes.
